Transformation and mechanisms of climate wet/dry change on the northern Tibetan Plateau under global warming: A ... - EurekAlert


<p>In a paper published in Science China Earth Sciences, Professor Yu Li&#39;s team from Lanzhou University compared the wet/dry changes in the northern edge of the Tibetan Plateau during different warm periods from a paleoclimate perspective. It was found that the wet/dry changes in the modern warm period in this region are similar to those in the medieval climate anomaly. Continued warming will make the climate tend to be humid, and the future wet/dry pattern will be similar to the mid-Holocene.</p>
