Sperm can survive in space for 200 years without damage, study finds
Healthy mouse pups born from freeze-dried sperm stored on the ISS for nearly six years.
In 2013, scientists from Japan sent samples of freeze-dried mouse sperm to live on the ISS -- and now they finally know how it affected them. Even after six-years of exposure to space radiation, the researchers say the space sperm still produced healthy pups.
