NASA Looking at Organizational Change Amid Workforce and Budget Cutbacks
Posted: June 27, 2025 6:25 pm ET | Last Updated: June 27, 2025 6:33 pm ET | At a June 25, 2025 Town Hall meeting for NASA employees, NASA Acting Administrator Janet Petro urged employees to consider their options to leave voluntarily before involuntary Reductions in Force could be needed to reduce the workforce to meet the Trump Administraton's budget proporal. Trump wants to cuts NASA's budget by 24.3 percent in just one year, the biggest drop in such a short period of time.
