Immune cells carry a long-lasting 'memory' of early-life pain - EurekAlert


<p>Newborn injuries can &quot;prime&quot; the body to experience more-intense pain when other injuries occur years later. Now, research&nbsp;published in <em>Cell Reports</em> led by experts at Cincinnati Children&rsquo;s pinpoints how and where the genetic changes occur that create such long-lasting pain memory.&nbsp;</p>
