US pre-teens discover rare juvenile Tyrannosaurus rex; Science expedition chronicled in extraordinary documentary - EurekAlert


Three keen-eyed young fossil hunters in the Hell Creek badlands of ND have made the discovery of a lifetime: an extremely rare teenage Tyrannosaurus rex skeleton that could rewrite history. In the months since, an award-winning documentary crew, renowned palaeontologists, several of the world’s foremost natural history museums, and top animators partnered to present the kids’ discovery and subsequent adventure excavating the fossil in dramatic cinematic fashion, including animated recreation of the dinosaur's life and environment. T-REX will be screened in immersive museum cinema formats in 100 cities over coming months.
