Understanding disaster response: NSF Career Award supports University of Oklahoma engineer's research on ... - EurekAlert


Understanding how communities communicate during disasters is increasingly crucial given the recurring and unpredictable nature of storms, floods, tornadoes and earthquakes. Arif Sadri, Ph.D., an assistant engineering professor at the University of Oklahoma, has received a CAREER award from the National Science Foundation to study this. His project aims to improve community disaster preparedness, response, and recovery efforts.
