Ultra-high sensitivity for isoamyl alcohol based on g-C3N4 nanosheets incorporated Ag nanoparticles loaded Er0 ... - EurekAlert

The reported isoamyl alcohol sensors are often limited by low sensitivity and poor moisture resistance. In this study, Er-doped LaFeO3 (ELFO) surface was loaded with Ag nanoparticles to improve its sensitivity to isoamyl alcohol, and g-C3N4 nanosheets were recombined to Ag/ELFO surface by electrostatic self-assembly to enhance its response at high humidity. Considering the requirement of practical application in granary, the sensing behavior of g-C3N4/Ag/ELFO at 20%RH was studied systematically. In addition, the practical application results of wheat at different mildew stages further confirmed the potential application of the sensor in wheat early mildew monitoring.
