Toward a unified theory for dynamics of glassy materials - EurekAlert


<p>In a paper published in the National Science Review, scientists propose a theoretical advancement that aims to distill a unified principle governing various dynamic processes across vastly different disordered materials, including supercooled liquids, glasses, and amorphous materials. This breakthrough is made possible by the introduction of a new order parameter, derived through attempt to use pattern-matching technique to address the complexity in materials science.</p>
