The summer of 2023 in large parts of the Northern Hemisphere was the hottest for more than 2000 years - EurekAlert


Geographers at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz (JGU) in Germany and the University of Cambridge have determined that the summer of last year was the hottest over wide areas of the Northern Hemisphere since year 1 of the Common Era. They report their findings in an article published yesterday in the online edition of the journal <em>Nature</em>.
