The mechanism of a novel circular RNA circZFR that promotes colorectal cancer progression - EurekAlert

A research paper just published in Science China Life Sciences reports circZFR as a novel biomarker for colorectal cancer (CRC) diagnosis and prognosis. For the first time, researchers have identified and confirmed that circZFR is upregulated in CRC tissues and serum exosomes. CircZFR promotes the growth and spread of CRC by binding to BCLAF1 and sponging miR-3127-5p. Additionally, targeting circZFR using the nanocarrier produced by this team can significantly inhibit CRC growth.
