The earliest evidence for a microblade adaptation in the remote, high altitude regions of the Tibetan plateau - EurekAlert


In a paper published in Science China Earth Sciences recently, a joint of scientists report an archaeological site named Nwya Devu Site Locality 3(ND3) located at the shores of Silin Lake. Typical microblade technology lithic artifact has been found at this site, which have been dated to ca. 11-10 ka. It is the earliest microblade technology site in the hinterland of the Tibetan Plateau.
