Study shows orange peel extract may improve heart health - EurekAlert


Extract from orange peels may be a key to heart health, a new study from the University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences has found. The finding is critical because the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says heart disease is the leading cause of death for men, women and people of most racial and ethnic groups. Results from the study showed that orange peel non-polar fraction extract effectively inhibited the production of harmful chemicals.
