<p>The past attempts of honey bee researchers to inventory the fungal diversity in honey bee colonies revealed that <em>Aspergillus flavus</em> is frequently found in hives. In a new study, researchers have discovered that this fungus is uniquely adapted to survive in bee colonies. </p>
