Purdue researchers improve the plasticity of ceramic materials at room temperature - EurekAlert


Purdue University engineers Haiyan Wang and Xinghang Zhang lead a team whose method improves ceramic room-temperature plastic deformability. It could expand the industrial applications of ceramics. Wang is the Basil S. Turner Professor of Engineering and Zhang is a professor of materials engineering in Purdue’s School of Materials Engineering. The research has been published in the peer-reviewed journal Science Advances.
