Researchers from MIT and elsewhere demonstrated a scalable, modular hardware platform that integrates thousands of interconnected qubits onto a customized integrated circuit. This “quantum-system-on-chip” (QSoC) architecture enables them to precisely tune and control a dense array of qubits.
