Miocene-Period Dugong Was Eaten by Crocodile and Tiger Sharks, Paleontologists Say


Paleontologists have unearthed a 20-million-year-old fossilized skeleton of a species of the dugongid sirenian mammal Culebratherium with shark and crocodylian bite marks in northwestern Venezuela.
