Klingon and Other Conlangs are Processed by Same Brain Mechanisms as Natural Languages: Study


Using functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), MIT neuroscientists tested brain responses to constructed languages (conlangs) and found that they are processed by the same brain network as natural languages.
