Breakthrough Starshot is a project to send a probe to the Earth-sized exoplanet Proxima Centauri b that's in the habitable zone of its star. At a speed of 20% of the speed of light, it will take around 25 years to complete the journey, and approximately 4 years for the data to travel back to Earth.
