Genomic insights into adaptation to bipedal saltation and desert-like habitats of jerboas - EurekAlert


A research paper published in SCIENCE CHINA Life Sciences reports the genome assembly of the Mongolian five-toed jerboa (Orientallactaga sibirica) and genetic innovations underlying morphological and physiological adaptation to desert-like habitats of jerboas by comparative genomics and in vitro functional assay.
