Erosion-induced recovery CO2 sink offset the horizontal soil organic carbon removal at the basin scale - EurekAlert
<p>In a paper published in Science China-Earth Sciences, Prof. Li Zhongwu together with collaborators simulated the transfer processes of SOC based on the erosion process model at the basin scale. They confirmed the net influence of water erosion on carbon cycling acts as a terrestrial sink for atmospheric CO<sub>2</sub> at the basin scale.</p>
