Muriel Lezak

Muriel Deutsch Lezak was an American neuropsychologist best known for her book Neuropsychological Assessment, widely accepted as the standard in the field. Her work has centred on the research, assessment, and rehabilitation of brain injury. Dr. Lezak was Emeritus Professor of Neurology at the Oregon Health and Science University School of Medicine. She favored the flexible approach to administering neuropsychological batteries.
