<p>The event, which is part of the CoARA Boost project, will take place from 13:00 - 15:00 (UTC -4) on 6 May and will examine current research assessment practices that perpetuate a “publish or perish” culture, prioritise quantity over quality, and reward prestige over integrity. Discussants will explore efforts such as the Declaration on Research Assessment (DORA), the Latin American Forum on Research Assessment (FOLEC-CLACSO), and the Coalition for Advancing Research Assessment (CoARA), all of which seek reform by promoting openness, integrity, and equity. </p>
