<p><strong>Disruption of normal ‘hematopoietic’ </strong><strong>development or the differentiation of stem cells into various blood types, can result in blood cancers like acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Despite, intensive chemotherapy, over 50% of patients experience a relapse, underscoring the need for novel targeted treatments. Researchers have now conducted an elaborate review, uncovering the role of post-transcriptional RNA modifications in normal hematopoiesis and AML pathogenesis. The review also highlights the effect of N6-methyladenosine and N7-methylguanine in hematopoietic conditions.</strong></p>
