Astronomers Explore 3D Structure of Milky Way Galaxy

Using data from the APOGEE survey, astronomers from the Leibniz Institute for Astrophysics Potsdam, the University of Vienna and Paris Observatory have reconstructed the properties of ‘hidden’ stars within the disk of our Milky Way Galaxy.
