Anette-Gabriele Ziegler receives the Paul Langerhans Medal - EurekAlert
This year, the highest award of the German Diabetes Association (DDG) – the Paul Langerhans Medal – is awarded to Prof. Dr. med. Anette-Gabriele Ziegler. The Director of the Institute of Diabetes Research at Helmholtz Munich and scientist at the German Center for Diabetes Research (DZD) is one of the most renowned researchers in the field of type 1 diabetes and is being honored with this award for her life's work. The award ceremony will take place during the German Diabetes Congress (May 8 to 11 in Berlin) on May 10.
