In 2020, BGI Genomics' "Huo-Yan" Laboratory became a symbol of hope during the COVID-19 pandemic, with a dedicated team establishing two labs in Brazil despite numerous challenges. Fast-forward to April 2024, BGI Genomics celebrated the opening of its Uruguay Laboratory, marking the first overseas "Huo-Yan" Air Lab for clinical molecular testing, committed to offering advanced precision medical testing services in Latin America.
