Active magnetic bearings (AMB) vibration suppression: a breakthrough using adaptive filter with iterative search algorithm - EurekAlert

Researchers from Zhejiang University have developed an advanced method to suppress vibrations in Active Magnetic Bearings (AMB) using an Adaptive Filter with an Iterative Search Algorithm (ISA). This new approach significantly enhances the stability and performance of AMB systems over the whole operating speed range, offering promising applications in industries. The study, published in CES Transactions on Electrical Machines and Systems (CESTEMS), has demonstrated impressive results through comprehensive simulations and experimental validations.
