A 1,000 Lb. Space Object Orbiting Earth Is Expected to Crash-Land Soon


Kosmos 482, a 1,000 lb. former Soviet space probe, is currently expected to renter the Earth's atmosphere between May 8 and May 11, 2025. The spacecraft has been orbiting the planet for over 50 years and it may make impact at a speed of about 150 mph. Scientists say there is a small chance it will collided with land.
