Presynaptic homeostasis mediated by exocytosis of a SNARE protein
Experiments show that when subjected to high-frequency stimulation, excitatory neurons exhibit a presynaptic form of homeostatic plasticity mediated by the exocytosis of v-SNARE protein VAMP7 and the resulting inhibition of P/Q-type calcium channels.
