Modified Mediterranean Diet Extends Healthy Lifespan in Mice: Study


In a new animal study published in the journal Cell Metabolism, scientists found that adding a precise amount of a single amino acid to a low-protein, plant-based diet dramatically reduced frailty and fat in mice; a cross-sectional analysis of epidemiological data from over 200,000 men and women pointed to similar benefits.
