Cryo-EM structure of a methanogen nitrogenase–PII protein supercomplex


Cryo-electron microscopy of a nitrogenase supercomplex from a methane-producing archaeon reveals a mechanism in which PII proteins drive assembly of such structures to regulate nitrogenase activity in response to nitrogen availability.
