Advisory on the Yinli-1 (Y4) rocket launch


The Philippine Space Agency (PhilSA) confirms the launch of the Yinli-1 (Y4) rocket from the People's Republic of China. Expected debris from the rocket launch was projected to have fallen within the identified drop zone (DZ): approximately 115 NM away from Babuyan Island and 129 NM away from Santa Ana, Cagayan. This drop zone is within the Philippine Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ). The Yinli-1 (Y4) rocket was launched from the East China Sea Launch Area in the eastern waters of Shanghai at around 10:52AM PhST on 22 July 2026.
